Replublicrats

I’m sick of the so-called “two party system.” Most of the people I know are saying “If the Democrats win, we’ll get this country straightened out.” or “If McCain wins, the country’s problems will be solved.” Can no one see that there is little difference between the two? They continue to dominate simply because those two groups of people wrote the rules! Ballot access, campaign finance, and the whole lot were devised by the Democrats and Republicans as a way to prevent any other party from cutting into their territory.

Nobody apparently noticed that BOTH Democratic AND Republican candidates advocated the passage of the biggest armed holdup in world history. They BOTH voted for it, and they BOTH pressured other legislators to vote for The Trillionaire Aid Package. It is unConstitutional on several levels. First off, giving money to private enterprise (or private individuals) is not a valid power of the Federal Government. Nowhere in Article 1, Section 8 is this listed. And, if it’s not listed in Article 1, Section 8, Congress has no business considering it. Secondly, both parties apparently decided that they wanted this badly enough that they decided to ignore Article 1, Section 7, which states that “All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives.” In their rush to perpetrate this injustice on the American Public (and their children and grandchildren), the Senate decided, since the House wasn’t moving quickly enough to satisfy, the Senate itself would originate the $700 BILLION (or more) theft from the same American Public they were hired to serve.

If the current crop of “public servants” is unaware of the Constitution that they all swore to protect and honor; if they are willing to mortgage not only our lives, but those of our children and grandchildren; then they should be immediately fired, and their memories relegated to the dung heap of history along with the other despots and usurpers.

These temporary “servants,” who have decided that they know what is best for us, and who are willing to ignore 90% of the people who made their wishes known, have obligated The Public for generations to come to pay a debt that those same temporary servants illegally created.

Democrats and Republicans: they are all the same. Neither has even a passing familiarity with the Constitution. Throw them all out. This current group of thieves is the best argument FOR term limits that I have seen.
